ACI Foundation

The ACI Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established by the American Concrete Institute to promote progress, innovation, and collaboration by supporting research and scholarships, while also serving as an independent resource to provide thought leadership and strategic direction for the concrete industry.

Our good works are accomplished through the initiatives of three councils and two programs.

Concrete Research Council

The Concrete Research Council advances the knowledge and sustainable aspects of concrete materials, construction, and structures by soliciting, selecting, financing, and publishing research.

Strategic Development Council

The Strategic Development Council brings together all facets of the concrete industry to facilitate the advancement of concrete technology.

Scholarship Council

The Scholarship Council supports our future concrete innovators and leaders by administering fellowships and scholarships to students.

Innovative Concrete Education

ICE grants provide capital equipment, construction materials, textbooks and expenses for webinars, and/or student certification programs and educational facilities to encourage awareness of job opportunities within the concrete industry.

Concrete Legacy Society

The Legacy Society is for planned charitable bequests.

The ACI Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Concrete Institute.

Help Fund Our Mission

The ACI Foundation awards more than $100,000 in fellowships and scholarships annually in the name of individuals, organizations, corporations, and the ACI.

Further, the Foundation approved $163,300 in grant funding among four research projects in 2016. “The efforts of the Concrete Research Council will boost the impact that the ACI Foundation’s funding will have on the concrete industry,” stated Joe Bracci, CRC Chair.
