Awarded to graduate students who demonstrate a significant commitment to research and study in the cement and concrete field and who show a strong motivation to contribute to the advancement of the concrete industry as demonstrated by internships, work experience, or extracurricular involvement in concrete related organizations. Applicants must attend a college or university in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, or Tunisia
