Due to a shift in funding and to reflect the general nature of the donors, the name of the Veteran Rebate Program has been changed to the Veteran Certification Assistance Program. The ACI Foundation would like to thank CMEC Holdings for its partnership and support for this program. As of June 1, 2026, the original 125,000 USD contribution from CMEC Holdings had been fully used, demonstrating both the strong demand for and meaningful impact of this initiative.
The impact of the Veteran Rebate Program as of June 1, 2026, is:
- 541 applications submitted;
- 58 applications denied due to eligibility requirements; and
- 483 rebates awarded.
Because several veterans received rebates for more than one first-time certification program, the total number of individual veterans assisted is approximately 375. The ACI Foundation has also raised an additional 18,500 USD from members of the ACI community and will continue fundraising efforts to help extend the program’s reach. Now that the Veteran Certification Assistance Program is fully community-funded, there is a need for consistent industry funding to keep the program available. Donations are still needed to extend the program into 2027. To contribute, visit www.acifoundation.org/giving/helpfundawards/step/step1_giftinformation.aspx.
